Chief Marketing Officer & Business Development
I build bridges between strategy,
market, and business growth.
Sustainable growth comes from deep market understanding, strategic decisions, and relationships built on trust.
Hi, I'm Shabnam Radmard.
I work in marketing, strategy, and business development. I believe a business succeeds not only by having a good product or service, but by understanding the market, customer behavior, making informed decisions, and creating real value.
For me, marketing has never been only advertising or brand visibility. I see it as a way to understand people better, uncover growth opportunities, and help businesses find their true place in the market. That is why I have always preferred to think beyond campaign execution and take part in strategic decisions, market development, and long-term partnerships.
Over the years I have worked with traditional businesses, service companies, and startups, gaining experience in marketing strategy, brand development, market research, competitor analysis, go-to-market strategy, partner negotiation, and international collaboration. That path has shown me that sustainable growth comes from informed decisions, careful analysis, and lasting partnerships, not just more advertising or more sales.
My professional path did not begin in marketing, and that may be why I see business differently today.
Early in my career I worked as a finance manager at a contracting company. That experience taught me that every business decision needs analysis, planning, and resource management, not only creativity. The financial and analytical mindset I built then still guides my business decisions and analysis today.
My work then shifted toward design, branding, and marketing, and gradually into strategy and business development. Working with different businesses, and later as Co-Founder and CMO of the TopCycle startup, gave me a close look at the real challenges of building a startup: validating ideas, developing products, entering new markets, and negotiating with local and international partners.
Along the way I have negotiated with companies, incubators, and international investors, taken part in pitch sessions, and helped draft partnership documents such as NDAs, LOIs, and MOUs. Those experiences moved my view of business development beyond theory into practical work.
Sport: where my professional character was shaped
A large part of who I am today was shaped years ago on the sports field.
I started sports at eight and won my first bronze medal that same year. That medal began a path of nearly ten years of training, competition, and steady effort. I competed in provincial and national events and gradually found my path in shot put.
At eighteen I joined Iran’s national junior athletics team and competed in the Youth Olympic qualification events in Singapore 2010. I finished fourth, a meaningful result, yet just short of the biggest goal I had at that time.
That same year, a severe knee injury changed my athletic path. Torn ligaments made continuing professional sport impossible, and I had to step away from a world I had worked toward for years.
At the time it felt like the end of a path. Today I know it was the beginning of another.
Recovery and rehabilitation made me see sport, health, and technology differently. Many challenges I faced then later became the motivation behind TopCycle, a startup built to help people train and rehabilitate in a smarter, more personalized, and more accessible way.
That is why TopCycle is not just a business for me. It is an effort to turn a personal experience into a solution that can improve other people’s lives too.
Sport taught me that success is not talent alone; it is discipline, consistency, responsibility, and resilience. Those values still shape my professional decisions and working style.
Along my career I realized what motivates me most is solving problems, finding new opportunities, and helping businesses grow. That is why my path gradually moved from marketing toward strategy and business development.
To me, business development is not only about more sales or new customers. It starts with deep market understanding, real customer needs, valuable partnerships, and solutions that enable sustainable growth.
Today I combine marketing, strategic thinking, and business development to help organizations spot new opportunities, make better decisions, and pursue long-term growth with more confidence.
How I see business
Every business has its own story, challenges, and opportunities, so I do not believe in one fixed formula for everyone.
Before any decision, I carefully study the market, customer behavior, competitors, industry trends, and growth potential. I believe sound decisions come from deep understanding and careful analysis, not guesswork.
I prefer building partnerships that create long-term value for everyone over chasing many short-term opportunities. The best collaborations form when trust, transparency, and shared interests come together.
I also believe the best solutions emerge when analytical thinking, creativity, and real market insight work together. So in every project I first make sure I understand the problem, then design a solution that fits that business.
A few principles show up in almost every professional decision and collaboration I make.
Business, technology, and customer behavior keep changing, and I believe learning never ends. I continually update my knowledge and skills in marketing, business development, product management, human resources, and technology.
Before diving into details, I try to see the bigger picture. Decisions made today should still create value for the business tomorrow.
My goal is not just to finish a project or close a deal. Real success happens when the outcome is valuable and lasting for everyone involved.
Many growth opportunities come from professional relationships. That is why building trust, speaking clearly, listening to different views, and forming long-term connections are a core part of every collaboration for me.
When I take on a responsibility, I commit to the quality of the result and stay with it until we reach the best outcome possible.
I enjoy reading about strategy, business development, marketing, product management, technology, and innovation, and I love discovering new ideas, talking with specialists, and experiencing different cultures.
I believe real growth, in life and in business, begins with curiosity, continuous learning, and the courage to try new paths.
